Welcome to the new website for The Army Sniper Association, an organization dedicated to the support of our men who serve, past and present, as our Nation’s trained Army Sniper Corps.

The Army Sniper Association is a nonprofit organization, formed by snipers, for snipers.  The mission of the Army Sniper Association is to develop a climate of camaraderie among snipers past and present, to foster the concept of the sniper within the active military, to ensure and strengthen relationships within the active military, and to always conduct ourselves as professionals.

The Army Sniper Association is a community, brought together by the knowledge of the sciences and the appreciation of the art involved in being a sniper.

The 2008 International Sniper Competition is scheduled for October 17-23, 2008. This event will again bring teams from all over the world to Fort Benning to compete in 10 to 15 sniper related events.

The focus of the competition is to bring teams together to share battlefield lessons learned, provide training initiatives and ideas and to compete tactically and technically. The event is limited to 28 teams (56 snipers) not including unit coaches, commanders and spectators.

This year’s activities will include:

• Vendor Show on Wednesday, October 22^nd  where you are invited to showcase products of interest to the International Sniper community and Ft Benning. This event is tentatively scheduled to be at Building 4, Infantry Hall.

• “How to Do Business With Ft Benning” seminar on Wednesday morning October 22^nd.

• Vendor Shoot on Thursday October 23^rd where the snipers and broader Ft. Benning Infantry community will be invited to fire your weapons and ammunition at Burroughs Range.

• Sniper Competition Awards Banquet on Thursday October 23^rd to honor the competitors and the cadre at Cunningham Conference Center, Columbus State University.

• Sponsor packets have been emailed and will also be sent out by the end of May. Our new website is under construction. Anticipated completion date is the end of May. The new website will afford you the opportunity to register and pay on line.
